12. Maintenance
Before performing maintenance on the equipment, it is imperative that you read and understand
the instructions in this manual. Failure to comply with all of them can cause serious damage and

To achieve the maximum productive capacity offered by this equipment, it is essential to keep it clean, disinfected and
sterilized. Routine or preventive maintenance is a necessary safety practice and is basically exclusively cleaning tasks
that are described below. The intensity and frequency of washing will depend on the conditions and the variety of the
product to be processed. Master Products recommends washing the barrel and blade at least once every 4 hours of
operation. The rest of the team recommends washing and sanitizing it at the end of each working day, every 8 or 12
hours.
To achieve optimal cleaning of the equipment components, Master Products recommends using an ultrasonic machi-
ne such as the Master Sonic 500 that it sells. If you do not have one of these machines, use a pressure washer with hot
water at around 60ºC, a soapy sponge and Master Clean liquid.
12.1. Cleaning
To carry out this operation it is essential to use protective gloves and follow the safety recommendations.
