Fastening the DPG and preparing for
operation
Connecting the DPG to a PC
The DPG can be connected to a PC using the micro USB interface
for communication and data transfer purposes. You can read out and
further process the stored values on the device using the optional
CheckMaster software. Up to 250 measurements can be stored in
the device. When the maximum number of values is reached, the
oldest value is overwritten on a rolling basis. Please refer to the
CheckMaster operating manual for a detailed description of the
functions.
Install the drivers (www.stahlwille.de/en/downloads) before
connecting the device to the PC.
➢ Install the drivers that can be downloaded from
www.stahlwille.de/en/downloads/usb-drivers.
➢ Connect the DPG to a PC using the micro USB cable.
➢ Switch on the DPG.
The DPG is now recognised as a Stahlwille USB device and a virtual
com port is installed.
