Using Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Features

or.Individual.to.see.the.last.twenty.normal.calls.received.by.the.radio.

details of. Use
information. For individual calls, the radio displays the name or MMSI
of the calling station and the call category (routine, urgency, or safety).
For a distress call, the log displays the name or MMSI, the type of
distress, the position, and the time of the call.

Requesting another station's position (POS Request)
Anytime you need to know where another boat currently is—to find your
boating partners, to respond to a request for assistance, etc.—you can send
a.position.request.to.their.radio:

Receiving a position request (POS Reply)
When another station requests your current position, the radio displays Reply.
