Failure removal
Failures
The flter does not darken regularly
and/or ickers.
The response has slowed down.
The flter is not responding
correctly.
The visibility is poor.
The welding helmet slips
Causes
The protector is contaminated or
deective.
The arc sensor is not clear.
The welding voltage is too low.
The battery is too weak.
The environmental temperature is
too low/high.
The sensitivity is too low.
Wrong working process set (Wel
ding, cutting or grinding)
The protector / protective panel is
contaminated.
The ambient light is not sucient.
The wrong darkening level has
been set.
The head band has been set
incorrectly.
Removal
Clean or replace the protector.
Clean the surace o the arc sensor.
Set the sensitivity to the maximum.
The battery needs to be replaced
(Li  CR 2450)
Use the welding helmet only at tem
peratures between 5 °C and +40 °C
Set the sensitivity to a higher level.
Set correct working process (Wel
ding, cutting or grinding)
Clean the protector and the protec
tive panel.
Introduce more light to your working
environment.
Reset the darkening level.
Reset the head band and tighten it.
