Checklist
If a problem arises during operation of your ice machine, follow the checklist below before calling service. Routine adjustments
and maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty.
Problem
Ice machine does not operate.
Gear motor runs and no ice is produced

Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
No electrical power to the ice machine and/or
condensing unit.
High pressure cutout tripping.
Power switch set improperly.
Bin thermostat open or ice touching
thermostat probe.
No water in reservoir.
Ice chute switch open.
Low air temperature around ice machine.
Time delay has not expired.
High pressure cutout tripping.
Low pressure control open.
Due for normal maintenance.
Ice machine starts and stops without a full bin
of ice.
To Correct
Replace the fuse/reset the breaker/turn on
the main switch.
Clean condenser coil. (See Section 4)
Move the switch to the ON position.
Adjust thermostat or remove ice.
No water to ice machine, plugged filter, float
valve defective.
Check for ice or binding and close switch.
Air temperature must be at least 35°F (2°C).
Wait 10 minutes for time delay to expire.
Clean condenser coil and reset.
Thaw evaporator and retest - Call for service.
