Ausgangspegel
Mit den Tasten OUTPUT LEVEL 22 an der Fernbedienung haben
Sie die Móglichkeit, den Ausgangspegel an den AnschluBbuchsen
OUTPUT LINE 23 zu verándern (Anzeige im Display 11).
Taste DISPLAY 5
Mit Taste DISPLAY 5 kann die Anzeige 11 in drei verschiedene
Stellungen umgeschaltet werden:
8) die bereits abgespielte Zeit eines Titels.
b) die noch verbleibende Spielzeit eines Titels und
€) die noch verbleibende Gesamtspieldauer der CD bzw. der ein-
gespeicherten Titel.
Alle Anzeigen erfolgen in Minuten und Sekunden!
Die Titelnummer wird sowohl im Track Display als auch im Titel-
kalender (blinkend) angezeigt.
Falls eine CD mehr als 20 Titel beinhaltet, erscheint im Titelkalender
in der rechten unteren Ecke das Zeichen OVER (siehe Fig. 10).
Elektrische Sicherheit und Funkentstórung
Das Gerát entspricht den internationalen Sicherheitsbestimmungen
IEC 65 (VCE 0860) und den EG-Richtlinien 82/499/EWG
(VDE

The functions 3 to 18 and 21 to 22 can also be operated using the
remote control.
Caution
This CD player works with invisible laser light. After opening the
player housing, laser light will be radiated from beneath the disc
Support arm.
Do not look straight into the laser beam or expose any part of the
body to it.
Laser radiation within the player
The player housing must only be opened by qualified personnel to
avoid harmful exposure to radiation.
Information label on the rear of the player (fig. 11).
Warning label on the inside of the disc compartment (fig. 12).
Important informations
— Protect player from dampness.
— Fingerprints, dust and condensation on the compact disc can be
wiped off with a soft cloth.
— Do not put the player into operating immediately after moving it
from the cold into a warm environment, Any condensation on the
laser lens may inpair correct function.
— Only operate the player in a horizontal position.
— The disc should be removed from the player for transport pur-
poses.
ー Disconnect from the mains before opening the player
housing.
Connection to the AC mains
— Connect the player to a 230 V/50 Hz or 120 V/60 Hz mains as per
the data on the rating plate.
ー The player carries voltage even when switched oft To completely
isolate it from the AC mains, you have to pull out the power plug.
Connection to the amplifier
— The cinch cable provided is fitted with one connection jack
OUTPUT R and one connection jack OUTPUT L. Plug R into the
Socket at the CD input of the amplifier which is marked «right» and
L into the one marked «left».
— If the amplifier does not have a CD input, you can use another
high-level input (such as Tape, Tuner or Aux) instead.
Connecting a DAT
Connect OUTPUT DIGITAL socket 24 to the INPUT DIGITAL
Socket
on
your
DAT. This
provides
you
with
the capability
of
recording CD's on DAT cassettes without any loss in reproduction
quality.
Power on/off
ー Switch the machine on using the POWER 1 button.
— If no disc is in the drawer, the display first flashes. After a few
seconds, the display No disc appears (Fig. 2).
— Ifa disc is in the drawer, the display first flashes. Then the number
of tracks on the disc and its total playtime are displayed for a short
period of time. The display then appears (Fig. 3).
Inserting the disc
— Press the button OPEN/CLOSE 10.
ー The transport drawer moves out. The message OPEN appears in
the display
ー Remove
the compact
disc from its box without touching the
playing surface and insert it so that the label is pointing upwards
(Fig. 1).
