11. Ensure that no voltage is present between L and PE at the AC terminal using a suitable
measuring device.
12. Actively discharge the DC link. For this purpose use,
for example, a 2-pole voltage detector that does not
have its own voltage source. Using the voltage
detector, conduct a measurement on the connection
screws of the terminal of the DC link connection
cable on the CON assembly until a value of 0 V is
displayed.

Damage to the inverter due to electrostatic discharge
The internal components of the inverter can be irreparably damaged by electrostatic
discharge.
• Ground yourself before touching any component.

Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources (see Section 5, page 13).
2. Remove the ribbon cable (B) from the CON assembly, the OCS assembly and the power
assembly (AST).
