To activate a profile quickly in the standby mode or during a call, press End,
scroll to the desired profile, and select OK.
Tone settings
In this menu, you can change the settings of the currently selected profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and one of the following settings:
Incoming call alert—Choose how the phone notifies you of an incoming voice
call. The options are Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once and Off.
When the fold is open, all ringing tones are played in ascending mode.
Ringing tone—Select the tone that you hear when you receive a call. You can
use one of the default ringing tones or a ringing tone from the Gallery.
Ringing volume—Sets the volume level for the ringing and message alert tones.
Vibrating alert—Sets the phone to vibrate when you receive a call or a text
message. The vibrator does not operate when the phone is connected to a
charger or car kit.
Message alert tone—Sets the tone that you hear when you receive a text message.
Keypad tones—Sets the volume for keypad tones.
Warning tones—Sets the phone to sound tones, for example, when the battery
is running out of power.
Alert for—Sets the phone to ring only upon calls from phone numbers that
belong to a certain caller group. Scroll to the caller group you want or All calls,
and select Mark. See also the Caller groups setting in the Contacts menu.
Adding new tones to your phone
For availability of tones using the text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging
(MMS) or browser service, contact your network operator or service provider.
The tones are saved in the Gallery menu.
Display settings
Select Menu > Settings > Display settings, and one of the following settings:
Wallpaper—Select an image from the Gallery to be shown as a background
image (wallpaper) when the phone is in the standby mode. You can also turn
the feature On or Off.
Color schemes—Select the color for some parts of the phone display, such as
the signal strength indicator.
Operator logo—Set the phone to display or hide the operator logo saved in the
phone. If there is no operator logo available in the phone, this function is dimmed.
For availability of operator logos, contact your network operator or service provider.
Screen saver time-out—Set the time after which the screen saver feature is
activated. The screen saver is a power saving feature which becomes active if the
phone is not used for a certain length of time in the standby mode. Note that the
screen saver is deactivated when the phone is outside the network coverage area.
