If you select Always online, the phone automatically registers to a GPRS network
when you switch the phone on, if the GPRS network is available in your location.
If you select When needed, the phone registers and connects to the GPRS network
only if you use a function that needs the GPRS service. In this case, establishing
the connection may take longer than when Always online is selected.
GPRS icons
When the selected connection mode is Always online and the GPRS service is
available, The
icon is shown on the screen.
When you start a function that uses the GPRS service, the phone connects to
the GPRS network, the

The phone tries to re-establish the connection after the call.
