4. Start up
4.1 Battery Charging
Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories
page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the lithium ion
battery of your dispenser.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full ca-
pacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the battery
charger before using your dispenser for the first time.
The lithium ion battery can be charged at any time without re-
ducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure does
not damage the battery.
The lithium ion battery is protected against deep discharging by
the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is empty,
the machine is switched off by means of a protective circuit
Do not continue to press the trigger after the
dispenser has been automatically switched
off. The battery can be damaged.
The battery is equipped with a NTC temperature control which
allows charging only within a temperature range between 0°C
and 45°C.
CAUTION
Only use the original battery chargers
90041AK / 90041CK.

4.2 Battery Charge-control indication
The three green LEDs of the battery charge-control indicator, in-
dicate the charge conditions of the battery. For safety reasons, it
is only possible to check the status of the charge condition when
the dispenser is not in use.
Press the button (15) to indicate the charge condition. This is
also possible when the battery is removed
LED

Continuous lighting 3 x green
≥ 2/3
Continuous lighting 2 x green
≥ 1/3
Continuous lighting 1 x green
<1/3
Flashing light 1 x green
Reserve
When no LED lights up after pushing the button, then the battery
is defective and must be replaced.
Recommendations for Optimal Handling of the Battery
Protect the battery against moisture and water.
■ ■
Store the battery only within a temperature range between 0°C
■ ■
and 45°C. As an example, do not leave the battery in the car
in summer.
Occasionally clean the venting slots of the battery using a soft,
■ ■
clean and dry brush.
A significantly reduced working period after charging indicates
■ ■
that the battery must be replaced.
4.3 Connecting the battery
Use only original Mixpac lithium ion batteries (90040K / 90042K)
with the voltage listed on the identification plate of your dispen-
ser.
Set the "Manual/Repeat switch" (9) to the centre position to pro-
tect the dispenser against accidental starting.
Insert the charged battery from the front into the base of the
dispenser. Press the button (16) down, and push the battery
completely into the base until the battery is securely locked.
10
The battery is equipped with a locking mechanism that should
prevent the battery from falling out.
To remove the battery, press the button (16) and pull out the
battery toward the front.
CAUTION
Only use the original battery 90040K / 90042K.
Never use damaged batteries.

■ ■
provided by the material`s manufacturer.
Make sure only to use cartridges and mixers
■ ■
that are approved for the force the dispenser
provides (see the force on the identification
plate 1.3). Warning : If cartridges and mixers
are too weak, a risk of bursting and spraying
of material is present.
CAUTION
Inserting the cartridges.
Risk of crushing!
When inserting the cartridge, make sure that
■ ■
there are no fingers between the cartridge
and the plunger disc.
