5 TUNING-IN YOUR TV
* Skip this section if your TV is connected to receiver's TV
SCART/PERITEL socket.
@ Connect receiver to mains supply (on receiver front panel, check red light comes
on).
Note that STANDBY button switches receiver on and off.

@ Select a spare channel on the TV and tune it in to
receive picture similar to:

(If you cannot tune-in to this picture, try repeating steps ©
and @.)
Once tuned-in, select this channel on your TV whenever
you want to watch satellite programmes.
When all tuning-in is finished, press STATUS once (don't
press it yet if you still have to tune-in your video recorder).

* Skip this section if your video recorder is connected to receiver's VCR
SCART/PERITEL socket.
@ Set TV to satellite channel and check that picture shown above is still displayed
(if not, hold down STATUS button for five seconds).
@ Set TV to the channel you normally use for video playback.
® Onthe video recorder, selecta spare channel and tune
it in to receive the same picture:
Once tuned-in, select this channel on your video recorder
whenever you want to record satellite programmes.
When all tuning-in is finished, press STATUS once.
