SETTING THE TIMER
To make receiver switch on and off automatically at pre-selected times and channels, follow these instructions:

Press TIMER repeatedly until you see picture similar to:

Make sure END, DAY and CHANNEL settings are
blank (underneath). If they are not blank, press
TIMER again until they are.

To adjust current setting (flashing), press SELECT + or —
(hold the button down to adjust quickly).

To confirm current setting and move on to next setting, press OK.

When all settings are as required, check TIMER EVENT SET is displayed, then press EXIT.
NOTES
When setting START and END times, remember to use the 24-hour clock.
When setting DAY number, note that 0 is today, | is tomorrow, 2 is two days' time, etc. After 28, EVR
appears - this means every day.
When setting CHANNEL, note that if UNLOCK
CHANNEL
appears, the channel must be unlocked
before pre-selected start time.
You can set up to eight different timer events up to four weeks ahead.
To abandon timer setting at any point, press STANDBY.
You can continue to operate receiver normally before and after timer events.

CHECKING THE TIMER
Press TIMER repeatedly to check all timer event settings (in date order) on the TV screen. Press EXIT to finish.
CANCELLING THE TIMER
To cancel a timer event in progress, simply press STANDBY to switch receiver off.
To cancel a timer event before it starts, follow these instructions:

Press TIMER repeatedly until the event you want to cancel is displayed.
Press OK repeatedly until TIMER EVENT SET is flashing.
Press SELECT + so that SET changes to CANCEL.
Press EXIT.
