Assiging a Name
to a Disc
You can assign a name to a disc (Disc
memo).
For this function, 78 letters (including a
space, characters, and symbols) are
available. You can assign a title, musician
name, genre. date of purchase etc. to your
disc.
*.NO DISC-' can be changed to a desired
indication.

Your Disc
1 insert the disc in the tray to which
you want to assign a disc memo.
2 input a desired disc memo.
The available letters are shown on the
page 74.
You can assign a disc memo more

quickly by using the remote commander.
2. A INPUT You can also input a disc memo during
play.
1)
A. When you input only Fl
alphanumeric characters:
1) Press MEMO INPUT.
Each time you press MEMO INPUT,
the display changes.
Choose the desired capital letters,
small letters, or numbers.
2) Press the applicable letter button.

To change character types. press
MEMO INPUT.
B. When you also need to input
nonaiphanumeric characters:
1) Press <4 or BP until the desired
character appears.
2) When the desired character
appears, press PPI
