Changing the frequency
To
change
frequency,
it
is
necessary
to
change
the
motor pulley which is
secured
to
the motor shaft by a screw. For
access
to the
motor pulley
the
platter must
be
removed.

Extreme
care is
necessary when changing
the
motor pulley, as
a
bent motor
pulley
will
cause
rumble.

Removing
the platter
The
platter
is
supported
by
means
of
a
spring
disc
secured
by
a
nut that
sits
on the platter
cover.
To
remove
the
plat-
ter,
first
remove
the
platter cover,
then
the spring clip can be
removed.
lmportant:
When
handling
the
platter
avoid
touching
the inner surfaces with
your
fingers
as skin
oils
can
cause
slippage
(and resulting pitch
deviation) between the
idler
wheel
and
the
driving
rim
of
the
platter.

Connecting other program
sources
The output socket
"p"
on
the connection
panel
for the
connection
to
separate
am-
plifiers can also be used
as
input for
tape
recorders.
For
connection
the
cables
mentioned
above
are
available
as
accessories through
retailers.
Stereophonic Reproduclion
For
stereophonic reproduction
the
unit
can
be
connected
to a
stereo
amplifier
or
stereo
radio
receiver
with
separate
speakers
for the
reproduction
of the
left
and right
channels. Proceed as follows.

portable record player and
the

of

stereo amplifier, switch
on
the
amplif
ier of the
portable
record
player,
and
set
for
minimum
volume.
The
portable record player

Operating instructions
After
connecting
the
power supply,
turn
the
unit
on
by turning
the line
switch
to
the
right. The
pilot
light
will
then
glow.
With
the
push button
set
next
the
neces-
sary
turntable speed
on
33
or 45
rpm.
Now place
the
record
-
with this unit
all
microgroove
and stereo records
can
be
played
-
on the turntable platter and
re-
lease
the
tonearm.
The Dual
is
now
ready
for
play.
