Changing the filter fleece
Quickly install a new filter fleece reel when the filter fleece is used up. As soon as the filter fleece is no
longer wrapped around the drum, coarse dirt will enter the drum and contaminate the Hel-X bio-ele-
ments. (→ Cleaning the Hel-X bio-elements)
CAUTION
The soiled filter fleece may contain hazardous bacteria.
Wear gloves during work.
NOTE
Dispose of the filter fleece properly.
Germany: The filter fleece may be disposed of with normal household waste.
Other countries: Adhere to the regional disposal regulations.
The reel containing the soiled, wet filter fleece is heavy.
– Always have two people lift the reel out of the container.
– Replace the reel once when half of the filter fleece is used up.
The figures B and C show the additional steps required for changing the half-used filter fleece.
– These steps are not required when the filter fleece is fully used up.
