WARNINGS
Dear customer:
Pay attention to all the suggestions and warnings included in the user's manual.
Warning
This apparatus mustn't be used by people (including children) with reduced mental,
sensory and physical abilities, or even by people with lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have had some training or instructions on how to use the apparatus taught
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be watched at all times to make sure they don't play around with the
apparatus.
The installation must be carried out by qualified technicians, accordingly to the IEC
regulations and with the national legislation related to civilian electric and hydraulic
systems.
Before the electrical and hydraulic connections are carried out, the installation techni-
cians must require the presentation of compliance declarations of the building system.
If these documents aren't presented, GALA cannot be held responsible for the function-
ing and safety of the product.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
When installed by qualified personnel, according to the instructions provided by GALA,
the product complies with the safety regulations EN 60335-2
105:2005+A1:2008+A11:2010, EN60335-
1:2002+A1:2004+A11:2004+A12:2006+A2:2006+A13:2008, as well as the
regulations EN 61000-3-2 (06)+A1 (09); EN 61000-3-3 (08); EN 55014-1 (06) + A1
(09); EN 55014-2 (97)+ A1 (01) + A2 (08) – tests for the compliance of the policy
2004/108/CE related to electromagnetic compatibility.
The safety norm EN60335-2-105 is within the Low Voltage Policy area – Policy
2006/95/CE. The norms EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, EN55014-1, EN55014-2
are within the Electromagnetic compatibility policy area – Policy 2004/108/CE.
To assure the safety, the user must:
-have the product installed by specialized personnel with qualifications to certify the
installation complying with the regulations and applicable laws. .
- Keep the installation certificate as mentioned above.
- Make sure, through regular inspections, the electrical system the shower is connected
to is working properly, namely:
-the safety circuit (ground connection) is efficient
-the highly sensitive switch (ld<30mA) is efficient
- the main switch (shower switch) is efficient and has been activated before its
usage and deactivated after it.
In case of failures and electrical malfunctions, switch the Lux Cabin off the power,
through the switch mentioned above and report the problem to ZZ technical assistance.
