OPERATION
Sensor Cooking
The SensorFeaturedetects the increasing
humidity released during cooking. The
oven automaticallyadjusts thecooking
time to various types and amountsof food
• The proper containers and covers are
essentialfor best sensor cooking
• Alwaysuse microwave-safecontainers
and cover them with lids or vented
plastic wrap. Never use tight-sealing
plastic containers, which can prevent
steam from escaping and causefood to
overcook,
• Be surethe outside of the cooking
containers and the inside of the
microwaveoven are dry before placing
food in the oven. Beads of moisture
turning into steam can misleadthe
sensor
Use only with prepackaged microwave
popcorn weighing 1.75to 3.5 ounces,
TO USE THE POPCORNFEATURE:
Followpackage instructionsusing TIME
COOK if the package is lessthan 1.75
ounces or largerthan 3.5 ounces. Piece the
packageof popcorn in the centerof the
microwave.
1. Pressthe POPCORNpad.
if you open the door while"POP" is in the
display, "ERROR" will appear. Close the
door and press the STARTpad.
2. HOW TO ADJUST THE POPCORN
PROGRAMTO PROVIDEA SHORTER
OR LONGERCOOK TIME:
If you find thatthe brand of popcorn
you use underpops or overcooks
consistently,you can add or subtract
20 to 30 seconds to/fromthe automatic
popping time.
TO ADDTIME:
After pressingthe POPCORNpad, press
9 immediately after the ovenstarts for an
extra 20 seconds, Press9 againto add
another 10 seconds (total 30 seconds
additionaltime).
TO SUBTRACTTIME:
After pressingthe POPCORNpad, press
1 immediatelyafter the ovenstarts for
20 seconds less cooking time, Press1
again to reduce cooking time another 10
seconds (total 30 seconds lesstime).
The Reheat Featurereheatssingle
servingsof previously cooked foods or a
plate of leftovers.
1. Place covered food in the oven,
2. Pressthe REHFJ&T pad. The ovenwill
start immediately,
3. The oven signals when steam is
sensed and the time remaining begins
counting down.
Do not open the oven door until time is
finished counting down, If the door is
opened, close it and pressthe START
pad immediately.
After removingfood from the oven, stir, if
possible,to even out the temperature,if
the food is not hot enough, use the TIME
COOK pad to reheatfor more time,
Reheatedfoods may havewide
vedatlon in temperature.Some areas
may be extremelyhot.

• Foodsthat must be reheated uncovered
• Foodsthat need to be stirred
• Foodsthat call for a dry lookor crisp
