Superheated liquid will bubble up
out of the cup when it is movedor when
somethinglikea spoonor tea bag is put
intoit.
Topreventthisfrom happeningand
causinginjury,do notheat anyliquid for
morethan 2 minutesper cup.
Afterheating,letthe cup standinthe
microwave for 30 secondsbeforemoving
it or puttinganythinginto it.
Spontaneous belling:Undercertain
specialcircumstances,liquidsmaystartto
boilduringor shortlyafter removal f romthe
microwaveoven,Topreventburnsfrom
splashingliquid, werecommendthe
followingbefore removing the container
fromthe oven:
- Allowthe oentainerto standin the
ovenfor 30 to 40 secondsafterthe
ovenhas shut off.
- Donot boil liquidsin narrow-necked
containerssuchas soft drinkbottles,
wineflasksand especiallynarrow-
neckedcoffeecups. Evenif the
containeris opened,excessive
steamcan build up and causeit to
burst or overflow,
• DO NOTheatbabyfood in glassjars in
the microwave.
• BOILABLE COOKINGPOUCHES and
tightlyclosed plastic bags shouldbe slit,
piercedor vented asdirectedby package.
Ifthey are not ventedinsomeway,
pressurewill causethemto burst.

withthe dooropen sinceopen-door
operationcan resultinharmfulexposure

notto defeator tamper withthe safety

2. hingesandlatches(brokenor
loosened)
3. door sealsandsealingsurfaces.
Toremovethe adhesiveresidueleftfrom
packagingtape,usehousehold dishwashing
liquid, mineral o il or cookingoil. Witha soft
cloth, rub intothe area andallowto soak.
Rinseand dry well. Repeatprocedureusing
an appliancepolishto insurenodamage is
done.Thisshouldbedonebefo_ the
ovenIsturnedon forthe first time.The
tape cannotberemovedoncethe oven
