Risk of injury from incorrect use!
Incorrect use of the exhalation system may jeopardize the success
of therapy.
Note the contraindications for mask and therapy device.
Do not use vented masks.
Ensure sufficient CO
a non-vented full face mask.
Connect the exhalation system directly to the mask and use in
the closest possible proximity to the patient.
Use the exhalation system only for a single patient.
Ensure that the connections to the mask and to the circuit are
firm and air-tight. The connections may not come loose as a
result of therapy pressure.
Risk of injury from lack of cleaning!
The exhalation system may be contaminated and this can put the
patient at risk.
Clean the exhalation system before using it for the first time

Clean the exhalation system regularly.
When selecting the detergent, consider potential allergies.
Risk of injury from parts breaking off!
The exhalation system may have loose parts or parts which come off
and these may place the patient/user at risk.
Perform a visual inspection before using for the first time and
after every cleaning operation.
