WARRANTY
FOREWORD
Sherco grants a contractual warranty for a specified period depending on the vehicle, these conditions are available below.
The warranty period begins on the day the vehicle is sold by an authorized dealer to the end customer. To be sure of the
date on which the warranty starts, always keep the original sales invoice for the bike.
Sherco bikes are sold through a network of authorized distributors. For the warranty to be valid, assembly, tuning and
maintenance must be carried out by an authorized distributor.
VEHICULE REGISTRATION:
On the day of delivery of the bike, the dealer and the customer undertake to complete this booklet as well as the vehicle
acceptance form. The vehicle must then be registered by the dealer on the dedicated website. No warranty will be accepted
if the vehicle has not been registered.
WARRANTY PERIOD
A limited warranty does not imply or mean that the frame or components of the bicycle will never break or deteriorate.
This limited warranty only covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
The bicycle frame is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of five years from the date of first purchase.
The swingarm, chainstays, seatstays and linkages are guaranteed for two years from the date of first purchase.
Paint and decal assemblies are guaranteed for one year from the date of first purchase
Sherco brand components are guaranteed for one year from the date of first purchase.
Non-Sherco components, including forks, electronics, shocks and tires, are covered by the manufacturer's warranty,
if any, and are not covered by the above warranty. Contact an authorized dealer for warranty terms.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This warranty applies only to the original owner who purchased the bike from an authorized dealer and is therefore
non-transferable.
In order for the warranty to be valid, the bicycle must have been purchased from an authorized Sherco dealer in the same
country as the purchaser.
The warranty will be void if the bicycle is subjected to abnormal, excessive or improper use, faulty assembly, lack of
maintenance, changes or modifications, or the assembly of parts not supplied by Sherco.The warranty will be void if the
bicycle is used as part of a bicycle rental or self-service program.
Damage due to normal wear and tear, including fatigue, is not covered by the warranty. The owner is responsible for the
regular inspection and proper maintenance of his bike.
Items considered damaged due to normal wear and tear are : Bearings, nuts and bolts, shock mountings, seals, sprockets,
cassettes, tires, inner tubes, saddle, chain, brake pads, pawls, freewheel, brake discs, spokes, handlebars, grips, cables,
sheaths and bushes.
Discoloration caused by sunlight or other damage due to climatic conditions is not covered by the warranty.
All costs of replacement, labor, installation and shipment of replacement components are the responsibility of the bicycle
owner.
