IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Dear customer: Please read this instructions manual carefully
before using your cutting machine.
·
This machine is not designed to be installed outdoors. It
should not be placed in direct sunlight or other places where
it is not protected from the elements or where water jets are
used for cleaning.
·
In order to avoid any hazards, all repairs should be carried out
by technical personnel.
·
Please use original Zummo components, accessories and
spare parts. Do not manipulate the machine to make it work
without any of the safety devices.
·
We will not be liable for any damage caused through misuse of
the machine or through failing to read this instructions manual.
·
Please contact the company who supplied the machine for
any technical service. If you are unable to do so, then please
contact ZUMMO INNOVACIONES MECÁNICAS S.A.U. (con-
tact details in warranty details) .

Access to the servicing area is restricted to people who have
practical training and experience with the machine, particular-
ly in regard to safety and hygiene.
·
The machine applies great pressure to cut the fruit, and there-
fore you should never place your hands or any other objects
in the cutting zone.
·
Be particularly careful with the cutting blades, as you may cut
yourself when handling them. In order to avoid hazards, once
the blades have been cleaned, attach the blade guard (Fig. 1).
·
Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before
cleaning or carrying out maintenance tasks.
·
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the after-sales service or by similarly qualified
personnel in order to avoid any hazards.
·
A clearance of 10 cm is recommended between the sides and
rear of the machine and the walls in order to ensure appro-
priate internal ventilation. The air inlet and outlet must not be
obstructed. If the machine is to be fitted in a cabinet, make
sure there are ventilation holes for the inlet and outlet and fit a
forced ventilation system to the cabinet.

The machine must not be used by children aged under 8 years
or persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments, with-
out experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or
instructed. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the machine. Unsupervised children must not per-
form the user cleaning and maintenance tasks.
