Only use the focus adjustments after the convergent adjustments
FOCUS adjustment
explained below have been preformed. The monitor must be on for
more than 30 minutes before performing the focus adjustments.
It is possible to adjust the focus of the picture (beam diameter).
Press the [2] key to switch alternately between overall (e+-) and horizontal line (—--).
Prepare a white grid pattern as indicated below.
Adjust the horizontal line focus after the overall focus has been adjusted.
Adjust the focus for the center of the screen until the optimum effect has been achieved.
"The standard level (50) will be set when the [d and BI keys are pressed simultaneously.

Modifies the vertical and horizontal lines.
The width of the vertidal and horizontal lines will
be expanded when [4 and P] keys are pressed.

Modifies only the horizontal lines.

The monitor must be on for more than 30 minutes before performing the focus adjustments.
These convergence adjustments cannot be properly made until the monitor operation
has stabilized by being on for more than 30 minutes.
