Introduction
The following presentation is meant to illustrate the equipment and the appliance in
order to clarify their working and maintenance and to inform about the dangers and
precautions which are necessary for accident prevention.
Signals and warnings
• Electrical shock risk: also 230 V
• Biological danger, risk of infections from epidemic diseases.
• General danger sign.
• High temperature.
• Compulsory direction of fl ow or of rotation.
Signs cannot always fully express danger warnings, therefore it is necessary that
the user reads the warnings and keeps them in due consideration.
Failure to respect a danger sign or warning may harm operators or patients.
Do not remove protections; do not tamper with machines or their operation.
Despite all our efforts, it is still possible that danger warnings are not exhaustive: we
apologise with the users and kindly request them to care for all danger sources that might
have pass unnoticed and to inform us accordingly.
General features

Turbo-Smart is a dental aspirator basically made up of:
• an aspirating unit, (det. A1)
• a centrifugal separator (det. A2) separating air from liquid,
• an electric circuit (detail A3) controlling all the aspirator functions.
Turbo-Smart can be supplied complete with the following optional extras:
• Hydrocyclone (det. A2 and B2) and,
• plastic box, (det. A3) with handle (det. B3).
The centrifugal separator (Fig. 4 and 5 pages 74-75) is fi tted with:
• thermostatic valve, (det. A4) reducing head values in case of high room temperature
thus allowing for a gradual return to a proper operating temperature;
• overfl ow valve (det. A5) draining the liquids that might go into the centrifugal separator
while the aspirator is off;
