whereas the centrifugal separator drains at maximum capacity, the C4 valve opens,
thus allowing the recirculating of the excess liquid inside the centrifugal separator while
the total electric absorption remains constant.
The auto-protection function of Turbo-Smart starts working in presence of high tem-
perature as well. The printed circuit board is fi tted with three thermocouples: one is
connected to the motor group of the aspirating unit, the second one is recommended
to check the room temperature of the room or (the plant room) where the machine is
placed, the third one can detect the temperature of the exhausted air.
In case of temperature increase, which is dangerous for the integrity of the machine,
the aspirating unit slows down its rotation speed to reduce the head and to allow a
gradual temperature decrease.
When the temperature becomes dangerously high, the thermostatic valve opens (detail
A4) which has the same safety function as the above described electric control.
The A4 valve opens also when the vacuum exceeds 250 mbar in water column fi xed
by the ISO standards. In both cases similar functions come into operation to improve
safety.
General warnings and biological danger
(Fig. 12, page 80)
• Electrical shock risk: also 230 V can be lethal.
• Biological danger, risk of infections from epidemic diseases.
• General danger sign.
• High temperature.
Before starting any servicing operation on appliances that have been used, clean with
Puli-Jet plus or with other suitable substance. Disconnect the appliance from the
mains and padlock main switch, if provided.
For any servicing operation wear disposable gloves, goggles, mask and overall.
Aspirated liquids are contaminated and infected, and they can spread infectious
diseases.
The centrifugal separator (Fig. 12 detail D12), puts the aspirated liquids under pres-
sure, so, in case of leakages from the pipe or from appliances under pressure,
the biological hazard is higher.
