THE PACKAGE MUST INCLUDE
• SCONNECT1: The SWITCH CONNECT clock and installation instructions.
• SCONNECT2: The SWITCH CONNECT clock, installation instructions and the water and
air temperature sensors.
POSITIONING
• In a control box located in a technical room protected from water and dust, not accessible
to swimmers and located more than 3.50 m from the edge of the pool (exluding security
volume) and more than 3.5 m from the edge of the pool (excluding security volume).
• Room temperature between –5°C and +50°C.
• In a place that is easily accessible and that does not interfere with operating conditions.
• Sufficient aeration and unhindered access to the electrical box (no objects should be
placed in front of it).
• It should be located at a sufficient distance from all water pipes to ensure that if these
burst the box will not be splashed.
• And any other specific conditions that apply to technical rooms and to people in
compliance with NF norm C 15-100.
Remember to close the box properly after installation of the SWITCH CONNECT clock to
ensure that the ingress protection (IP) of the box remains applicable.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
All of the connections must be made using the correct cable glands to ensure that the
ingress protection (IP) of the box remains applicable.
For the SWITCH CONNECT connections, when the device is used to replace a conventional
clock (renovation), it is necessary to remove the wiring for switches on the front panel
in order to simplify the connection. In addition, the SWITCH CONNECT clock has a
maintenance mode that allows you to control the equipment without using a Smartphone.
