Switch the device off
Disconnect the fence at the
device and leave the ground

Switch the device on
Check the output voltage at
the DEVICE itself with a fence
tester!

Voltage over 6000 V?
YES
Switch off device, connect
it to the fence and switch on
again
NO
Check the voltage on the
fence with a fence tester. Over
2.5/4 kV?
YES
