cause danger.
4. Remove all adjustment keys or wrenches before the power tool is switched ON. A
wrench or key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may cause personal injury.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all time. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or wear jewelry. Keep clothes, gloves and
hair away from moving parts, because of loose clothing, jewellery or long hair may be
caught in moving parts.
Electrical safety
1. Power tool plug must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in anyway. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electrical shock.
2. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.
3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power
tool.
5. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cords increase the risk of electric shock.
6. When operating a power tool out-doors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
7. If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Notice of using the tools
1. Do not overload the power tool. Use the power tool intended for your type of work
in each case. The use of the suitable power tool within the stated range of performance
makes working more effective and safer.
2. Do not use a power tool with a damaged switch. A power tool that cannot be switched
on or off any more is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Pull the battery out of the socket before you adjust a tool, change accessories or put
the tool aside. This precaution avoids the unintentional start of the tool.
4. Store power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons to use the tool
if they are not familiar with the tool or these instructions. Power tools are dangerous if
used by inexperienced persons.
5. Thoroughly maintain your power tool. Check whether moving parts are working
properly and are not jamming/sticking, and whether parts are broken or otherwise
damaged in a way that affects the function of the tool. Have damaged parts repaired
before using the tool. Many accidents are the result of poorly maintained power tools.
6. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Thoroughly looked-after cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are jamming less often and are easier to guide.
7. Use power tools, accessories, add-on tools, etc. in accordance with these
instructions and in the way described for the respective type of tool. You should also
consider the working conditions and the work to be carried out. The use of power
tools for purposes other than those intended for the respective tool may result in dangerous
situations.
