Non-compliant connector connection
Fluid leaks, flooding, poor connection.
Release of hazardous fluid, non-functioning system, incorrect maintenance.
Follow the information on the label and in the instruction manual.
Wherever possible, use Teflon tape on the connections.
The connectors must not be subjected to pressure or vibrations.
The peripheral equipment connected to the heat exchanger must not transfer
loads to it.
Avoid temperature fluctuations with plastic connectors.
Shut-off valves must be provided in the heat exchanger connector so that the
entire system isn't interrupted during heat exchanger maintenance.
The system must have a ventilation valve at the highest point between the shut-
off valve and the heat exchanger for both switches. This makes it possible to
open the exchanger at atmospheric pressure.
Secure the flanges on the front plate or on the rubber covers.
Incorrect exchanger filling.
Fluid leakage from the heat exchanger.
Pressure shock, seal moving from its seat in the plate.
Fill the heat exchanger slowly.
Open / close the shut-off valve carefully.
Storage for extended periods in unsuitable conditions.
Premature damage to the seals, deterioration of the expanding screws, possible
contamination in the system.
Pressure shock, seal moving from its seat in the plate.
Store the heat exchanger in a closed environment, away from heat, light, dust,
solvents and acids.
Observe the maximum value for storage time in relation to the type of seal used.
Treat the expanding screws with an anti-rust agent.
Cover the exchanger with non-transparent fabric.
