2.10 Personal protective equipment
Wearing personal protective equipment while working is required in order to minimise health risks.

Wear the protective equipment required for the work in question at all times while working.
•
Follow any signs in the work area regarding personal protective equipment.

Immediately shut the control system down and disconnect it from the power supply.
•
If you are not in danger yourself, rescue people from the danger zone.
•
Initiate first-aid measures.
•
Alert doctor and/or fire department.
•
Inform the person in change at the place of use.
•
Clear access routes for emergency vehicles.
Protective clothing
Describes close-fitting work clothing with low tensile strength, with tight
sleeves and without protruding parts.
Do not wear rings, chains or any other jewellery.
Wear a hair net!
Safety boots
For protection against heavy, falling items, and against slipping on slippery
ground.
