2.10 Personal protective equipment
Wearing personal protective equipment while working is required in order to minimise health risks.
• Wear the protective equipment required for the work in question at all times while working.
• Follow any signs in the work area regarding personal protective equipment.

• Immediately shut the control system down and disconnect it from the power supply.
• If you are not in danger yourself, rescue people from the danger zone.
• Initiate first-aid measures.
• Alert doctor and/or fire department.
• Inform the person in change at the place of use.
• Clear access routes for emergency vehicles.
Protective clothing
Describes close-fitting work clothing with low tensile strength, with tight
sleeves and without protruding parts.
Do not wear rings, chains or any other jewellery.
Wear a hair net!
Safety boots
For protection against heavy, falling items, and against slipping on slippery
ground.
