3. Remove all accessories and documentation and tidy them away.
4. Clean the inside and outside of the fryer with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Dry the fryer before use.
III.2 USING THE APPLIANCE
Switching on
 Place the fryer on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Check that it is switched off.
 Open the lid.
 Remove the basket and handle and connect the basket to the handle.
 Pour desired cooking oil into the tank (the oil level must be between the minimum and
maximum levels indicated on the side of the tank).
Do not combine two different types of oil.
IMPORTANT! Never plug in the fryer while empty.
Cooking
1. Plug the fryer into the mains socket. The power indicator will switch on. (Red)
2. Set the device to the desired temperature using the temperature control knob, depending on
the food you intend to fry. The heating light will switch on (green)
3. When the fryer reaches the desired temperature, the heating light will switch off (after approx.
3-6 minutes).
4. Place the food for frying in the basket.
NB:
 The food for frying should not be stacked higher than the top of the basket in order to
ensure uniform cooking.
 Do not add water and do not immerse wet food in hot oil. Even small quantities of water can
cause the oil to splash. Ensure that all food is dry before immersing it in the oil.
The heating light will cycle On and Off with the thermostat to maintain the set temperature. The
power on light will remain On throughout use.
5. Lower the basket slowly and carefully into the oil. Ensure that the oil does not rise higher than
the maximum level.
6. Cover the lid.
7. When the food has been fried, open the lid and lift the basket to drain excess oil.
NB:
 The steam generated during the cooking process will escape from vent of lid. Take care not to get
burned.
