3. Completing the equipment of the CTK or HIPPOTANK

– Suitable anchorage systems on the vehicle
– equipotential bonding
– suitable power supply lines, especially if in vehicular derivation (See § 11.3 and §11.4)
4. Disclosing this guide and making it permanently available and easily accessible to all authorised users, checking his successful com-
prehension, and forbidding the management and utilisation of the CTK or HIPPOTANK
of knowledge and skills required.
5. Using and/or making use the CTK or HIPPOTANK
this manual, particularly as regards "uses allowed and not allowed" (chap. 7), and in accordance with the directions of the warning notices.
6. Taking effective measures to prevent unauthorised use, and ensuring correct behaviour of the authorised personnel.
7. Proper maintaining CTK or HIPPOTANK
original configurations of supply and avoiding making arbitrary changes without first consulting the manufacturer EMILIANA SERBATOI srl.
8. Fully knowledge of all the laws and regulations (about safety and fiscal issues) in relation to the activity carried on, quite apart from any
information provided in this regard by EMILIANA SERBATOI srl
9. Proceeding, in particular to the evaluation of explosive (Title XII Lgs. D. 81/2008) and lightning risks (art. 29 Lgs. D. 81/08) according to
the characteristics of the operating environment.
7. ALLOWED – NOT ALLOWED USES
7.1. USE
According to the current legislation the GIR/IBC are devices designed solely for storage and transport of dangerous goods and are not
permitted for use as mobile dealers, from which they differ mainly for the absence of a specific containment basin; indeed a use of station-
ary type should provide for the placement of the container within a containment basin of sufficient capacity to contain any spills or leaks.
Any non compliant use implies the sole and entire responsibility of the user. In any case, any improper use that may represent violation of
both the current fiscal legislation and the existing fire codes, are under the sole and entire responsibility of the user.
