With the one-point pH calibration only the offset is adjusted. If the sensor was previously calibrated
with a multipoint calibration the previously stored slope will remain. Otherwise, the theoretical slope
(-59.16 mV/pH) will be used.
●
To ensure the most accurate conductivity readings, you should verify your cell constant with a stan-
dard solution regularly and recalibrate if necessary. Always use fresh standards.
4.4.6 Running a two-point pH calibration
a) Run the first point of the calibration as described in "Running a one-point calibration" (steps a – c).
b) Rinse the electrode with deionized water.
c) Place the electrode in the next calibration buffer.
d) Press CAL.
e) Press READ to accept the calibration and return to sample measurement.

4.4.7 Running a three-point pH calibration
a) Follow the steps a - d as described in "Running a two-point pH calibration", and then
b) Repeat steps b - d for the third calibration point.
Note
The use of a temperature sensor or electrode with a built-in temperature sensor is recommended. If the
MTC mode is used, the correct temperature value should be entered and all buffer and sample solutions
should be kept at the set temperature. Calibrate regularly to ensure the most accurate pH readings.

The meter displays and freezes the relevant buffer value.
The calibration result is then shown on the display (for pH: slope and offset; for conductivity: cell
con stant).
The meter endpoints according to the preselected endpoint mode after the signal has stabilized
or after pressing READ.
