3 Installation
Carefully unpack the meter. Keep the calibration certificate in a safe place.

3.1 Installing the batteries

a) Slide the release button on the battery cover in the direction of the arrow.
b) Hold the lid with two fingers and remove it.
c) Insert the batteries in the battery compartment, as indicated by the arrows on the inside of the com-
part ment.
d) Replace the battery cover and push back the button to fix the lid in place.
Note
The IP67 rating requires the battery compartment to be perfectly sealed. The sealing ring around the bat-
tery cover must be replaced if it is damaged in any way.

3.2 Connecting a sensor

IP67 sensors
To connect the IP67 sensors, make sure that the plugs are properly inserted. Twist the RCA (Cinch) plug
to ease the attachment of the sensor.
ISM sensor
®
When connecting an ISM sensor to the meter, the calibration data is automatically transferred from the

chip of the sensor into the meter and is used for further measurements. When the ISM sensor is recog-
®
nized, it is accompanied by an acoustic signal and appears on the display.

3.3 Fitting the wrist strap

Fit the wrist strap as shown in the diagram.
3.4 SevenGo™ clip
The SevenGo™ clip is an electrode holder that can be placed next to the display on either side of the
hous ing.
