is no greater than 5 mm. Set the splitting wedge so
that the lowest point of the saw blade does not
protrude by more than 5 mm below the bottom
edge of the splitting wedge. See illustration on
page 2.
To adjust, loosen both hex screws (21), set the
right distances to the saw blade and tighten the
hex screws again.
7.2
Setting depth of cut
Loosen the clamp lever (10) to adjust. Use the
plunge-cut lever (8) to adjust the depth of cut.
Read the depth of cut that has been set from the
scale (9). Tighten the clamp lever (10) again.
It is advisable to set the depth of cut in such a way
that no more than half of each tooth on the saw
blade juts out under the workpiece. See illustration
on page 3.
For particularly clean cutting edges, set the depth
of cut to 2 - 5 mm greater than the thickness of the
workpiece.
7.3
Slanting saw blade for diagonal cuts
Loosen the locking screw (3). Tilt the motor unit
against the guide plate (1). Read the angle which
has been set from the scale (2). Tighten the locking
screw (3) again.
7.4
Extraction connection piece / dust
ejection
To extract sawdust, attach the extraction
connection piece (11) (push in until it snaps into
place). Push the hose from the extraction system
onto the extraction connection piece.

8.1
Switching on and off
To switch on: Push the locking button (13) in and
hold, then activate the trigger (12).
To switch off: Let go of the trigger (12).
8.2
Working directions
Lay out the mains cable so that the saw cut can be
executed without hindrance.
Do not turn the machine on or off while the
saw blade is touching the workpiece.
When the hand-held circular saw is added, the
movable safety guard is swung backwards by the
workpiece.
ENGLISH
While sawing, do not take the machine out
of the material if the saw blade is still
rotating. Instead, let the saw blade come to
a standstill first.
If the saw blade blocks, turn the machine off
immediately.
Overload protection: The power consumption is
restricted if the machine overloads. Relieve the
machine of the load. The machine switches off in
the case of a longer continuous overload. Switch
the machine off and then back on again.
How to saw following a straight marking: The
cutting indicator (6) is used for this purpose (for
straight cuts, 30°, 45° and 60° angled cuts). The
cutting indicator corresponds to the inner side of
the saw blade. For angled cuts, the scribe mark
can be viewed through the opening on the left side
of the top safety guard (see arrow in illustration on
page 3).
Sawing with a parallel stop:
For cuts parallel to a straight edge.
The parallel stop (7) can be inserted into its holding
fixture both from the left and the right. The cutting
range on the right hand side is approx. 190 mm
and on the left hand side approx. 340 mm.
When inserting it, make sure that it is parallel
with the saw blade. Or set the parallel stop so
that the distance to the saw blade is slightly
greater at the back than at the front.
Tighten the locking screws (5). It is best to
calculate the exact cut width by making a test cut.
In addition, the parallel stop (7) can simply be
turned around (guiding surface for the workpiece
edge faces upwards) and used as a support to
improve machine guiding.
Sawing with a guide rail:
This can be used to make straight-line, tear-free
cut edges, precise to the millimetre. The anti-slip
coating keeps the surface safe and protects the
workpiece against scratches. See section
Accessories.
Plunge cuts:
When cutting with the machine, hold the
handle firmly and push gently forwards.
Otherwise there is the danger of
kickback. Recommendation: secure a guiding
strip to the workpiece so that the back edge of the
guide plate (1) rests on it. This allows the machine
to be held more securely during the cutting
process.
Loosen clamp lever (10).
Use the plunge-cut lever (8) to move the saw blade
to the highest position.
