INSTRUCTION MANUAL
WARNING: READ ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE TWO INSTRUCTIONS: GENERAL
AND SPECIFIC.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) you must read carefully and understand
the safety information described on general instruction and the specific equipment instructions.

WARNING: The manufacturer and the seller decline any responsibility in case of incorrect use,
improper application or modifications/ reparations by persons not authorized by FALL SAFE®.
Check images in the "Donning and Setup" to the correct way to put on the harness. The full-body
harness is the only acceptable body retaining device that can be used in a fall arrest system. The
fall arrest harness should only be used as personal fall arrest system in accordance with EN363,
as fall arrest system, restraint system, works positioning system, rescue system with the
following tested and approved components: height safety devices in accordance with EN360;
travelling fall arrest devices on moveable guides in accordance with EN353-2; lanyards with strap
fall breaks in accordance with EN354/EN1496; lanyard in accordance with EN354; Karabiners in
accordance with EN362. The anchorage point on which the protective equipment must be
located above the user if possible and must satisfy the requirements specified in EN795
(minimum strength of 12kN). The dorsal/ chest D-rings or The dorsal/ chest webbing loops ("A"
points or 1/2 + 1/2 A points) must be connected to a fall arrest system that meets current
standards. Use only "A" attachment point for fall arrest system connection, for example a mobile
fall arrest, an energy absorber. In a fall event, the fall arrest attachment pint elongates
approximately 0.5 m. This elongation must be taken into account for the clearance calculation.
When is available, the ventral and the side attachment points on the work belt were design to
either hold the user in work position, or to restrain the user from entering a hazard zone.
ATTENTION: The side attachment point does not design for fall arrest usage. Always use the two
side attachment points together, by linking them with a work positioning lanyard, in order to be
comfortably supported by the comfort pad of the work belt.
WARNING: the waist belt is not suitable for fall arrest purposes and that a waist belt should not
be used if there is a foreseeable risk of the user becoming suspended or being exposed to
unintended tension by the waist belt. Warning: using a work positioning system it is essential to
consider the need of using a back-up, e.g., a fall arrest system.
WARNING: for work positioning, it is essential for safety to use an anchor point positioned at
above waist level. For adjusting the work positioning lanyards, you must attach the connector of
the end of the lanyards to the positioning side D-ring of your harness. Pass the rope through a
reliable anchor point EN795. Attach the connector on the other lanyard end to the positioning
D-ring. You can attach the positioning lanyard to a ring anchor point.
WARNING: The rope must be taut to prevent accidents. Never connect the lanyards directly to a
structure (cable, bar, etc.) having a slope greater than 15° because the fall length may then
exceed 0.6 m.
WARNING: karabiners must always be used with the gate closed and locked. Systematically
verify that the gate it's securely locked by pressing it with your hand. Avoid contact with sharp or
abrasive surfaces and objects. According to EN358, please note, it is essential to regularly check
fastening and adjustment elements during use. ATTENTION: the waist belt, it's approved for a
user including tools and equipment with a weight of up to 140 kg.
ATTENTION: a sit harness is not suitable for fall arrest purposes. Attachment points of the sit
harness (figure 1) can be used for restriction or work positioning. For work positioning (1), attach
the work positioning lanyard connector to the work positioning ring on the sit harness, pass the
rope through a safe spot; make sure that the lanyard is taut and attach to the other side ring. For
restriction (2), attach the connector on the other lanyard extremity to the positioning D-ring and
attach the positioning lanyard to a fixed anchor point. In accordance with EN813, it is essential to
check fastening and adjustment elements regularly, as well as essential to check the sit harness
regularly for any damage. The material used in the equipment, it's mentioned in "NOMENCLATU-
RE/ FIELD OF APPLICATION". Please check the number that corresponding to the respective
part. Be alert with the limitations of the materials. The temperature, the effect of sharp edges,
chemical reagents, electrical conductivity, cutting, abrasion, UV degradation, other climatic
conditions may change the material proprieties. Check the general instruction and, in case of
doubts, contact us for more specific information and detailed support.
ATTENTION: before and during use, consideration should be given as to how any rescue could
be safely and efficiently carried out. The product should only be used by a trained and/or
otherwise competent person, or the user should be under the direct supervision of such a person.
At "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION" you can find some instruction about the maintenance, but we
recommend reading all information about that in the general instruction. You can find information
about the product lifespan in the general instruction. Always, if possible, preserve the equipment
in the original packing. When transporting, avoid overlapping load and keep away from hot
surfaces, high temperatures, sharp surfaces or any other factor that compromises durability and
conditions of use. You can find the model/ reference in the respective product label. If you have
any doubt about the meaning of any marking on the product, please contact us. Please check
"NOMENCLATURE/ FIELD OF APPLICATION" of the respective equipment standard.
WARNING: When use the FS275, be sure the webbing is insert in the correct position - enter the
D-ring. WARNING: The rescue harness, FS236 - maximum load 100 kg, shall not to be used as
the body holding device in a fall arrest system.
ATTENTION: Prolonged suspension in case of a fall can cause suspension trauma that may lead
to serious injuries or dead! Please avoid suspension trauma! The rescue harness is intend to be
worn during normal working activities, and that you should carry out a suspension test in a safe
place before using the rescue harness for the first time. To ensure that it is the correct size, has
sufficient adjustment and is of an acceptable comfort level for the intended use.

DONNING AND SETUP
DS1 - Check you equipment and open all buckles; DS2 - Put on the shoulder harness like you
would put on the vest; DS3 - Close the chest buckle; DS4.1 | DS4.2 - Pass the strap between
your legs and close the buckle. After closing make sure it´s tight; DS5.1 | DS5.2 - Ready to use;
DS6 - Check your harness and open all buckles; DS7 - Put on the shoulder harness like you
would put on the vest; DS8 - Close the chest buckle; DS9 - Close the ventral buckle; DS10 - Pass
the strap between your legs and close the buckle; DS11 - After closing all buckles make sure that
all of them are tight; DS12 - Ready to use DS13 - Check your harness; DS14 - Put on the harness
in the waist area and legs straps area; DS15 - Close the legs insert buckle (click!) and adjust it;
DS16 - Tighten/ adjust the bar buckle in the waist area and in the legs buckles; DS17 - Put on the
shoulder harness like you would put on the vest. Closed the insert buckle and tight it; DS18 -
Insert the carabiner (EN362) on the ventral loop to unify the two parts and be sure that it is
properly closed; Tight the two side chest bar buckles; DS19 - Finally tight the strap of the rear bar
buckle; DS20 - If you need to separate the parts follow the steps as the picture shows.

VAROVÁNÍ: PŘEČTĚTE SI VŠECHNY INFORMACE OBSAŽENÉ VE DVOU POKYNECH:

KONKRÉTNÍ POKYNY
Před použitím osobních ochranných prostředků (PPE) si musíte pozorně přečíst a porozumět
bezpečnostním informacím popsaným ve všeobecných pokynech a specifických pokynech k
zařízení. POZORNOST!!! Máte-li jakékoli pochybnosti o produktu, potřebujete-li jinou jazykovou
verzi návodu k použití, prohlášení o shodě nebo jakékoli dotazy týkající se OOP, kontaktujte nás:

VAROVÁNÍ: Výrobce a prodejce odmítají jakoukoli odpovědnost v případě nesprávného použití,
nesprávné aplikace nebo úprav/oprav osobami neautorizovanými společností FALL SAFE®.
Zkontrolujte obrázky v části „Nasazování a nastavení", abyste správně nasadili postroj. Celotělo-
vý postroj je jediným přijatelným zařízením pro zachycení těla, které lze použít v systému
zachycení pádu. Postroj pro zachycení pádu by měl být používán pouze jako osobní systém
zachycení pádu v souladu s EN363, jako systém pro zachycení pádu, zádržný systém, pracovní
polohovací systém, záchranný systém s následujícími testovanými a schválenými komponenty:
výškové bezpečnostní zařízení v souladu s EN360; pohyblivá zařízení pro zachycení pádu na
pohyblivých vodítkách v souladu s EN353-2; lana s přetržením popruhu v souladu s
EN354/EN1496; lano v souladu s EN354; Karabiny v souladu s EN362. Kotevní bod, na kterém
musí být ochranné zařízení umístěno pokud možno nad uživatelem a musí splňovat požadavky
stanovené v EN795 (minimální pevnost 12 kN). Hřbetní/hrudní D-kroužky nebo Hřbetní/hrudní
popruhové smyčky („A" body nebo 1/2 + 1/2 A body) musí být připojeny k systému zachycení
pádu, který splňuje současné normy. Pro připojení systému zachycení pádu používejte pouze
upevňovací bod „A", například mobilní zachycovač pádu, tlumič. V případě pádu se čep pro
zachycení pádu prodlouží přibližně o 0,5 m. Toto prodloužení je třeba vzít v úvahu pro výpočet
vůle. Pokud je k dispozici, byly břišní a boční upevňovací body na pracovním pásu navrženy tak,
aby buď udržely uživatele v pracovní poloze, nebo aby zabránily uživateli vstoupit do nebezpeč-
né zóny.
POZOR: Boční upevňovací bod není určen pro použití k zachycení pádu. Vždy používejte oba
boční upevňovací body společně, a to tak, že je spojíte s lankem pro pracovní polohování, abyste
je mohli pohodlně podepřít pohodlnou podložkou pracovního pásu.
VAROVÁNÍ: bederní pás není vhodný pro účely zachycení pádu a že bederní pás by neměl být
používán, pokud existuje předvídatelné riziko zavěšení uživatele nebo vystavení neúmyslnému
napětí bederním pásem. Upozornění: při použití pracovního polohovacího systému je nezbytné
zvážit nutnost použití zálohy, např. systému zachycení pádu.
VAROVÁNÍ: pro pracovní polohování je pro bezpečnost nezbytné používat kotevní bod umístěný
nad úrovní pasu. Pro nastavení pracovních polohovacích lanek musíte připojit konektor konce
lanek k polohovacímu bočnímu D-kroužku vašeho postroje. Protáhněte lano přes spolehlivý
kotevní bod EN795. Připojte konektor na druhém konci lanka k polohovacímu D-kroužku.
Polohovací šňůrku můžete připevnit ke kruhovému kotevnímu bodu.
VAROVÁNÍ: Lano musí být napnuté, aby nedošlo k nehodě. Nikdy nepřipojujte lana přímo ke
konstrukci (kabel, tyč atd.) se sklonem větším než 15°, protože délka pádu může přesáhnout 0,6
m.
VAROVÁNÍ: Karabiny musí být vždy používány se zavřenou a uzamčenou bránou. Systematicky
ověřte, že je brána bezpečně uzamčena tak, že na ni zatlačíte rukou. Vyvarujte se kontaktu s
ostrými nebo abrazivními povrchy a předměty. V souladu s EN358 je nutné během používání
pravidelně kontrolovat upevňovací a nastavovací prvky. POZOR: bederní pás, je schválen pro
uživatele včetně nářadí a vybavení o hmotnosti do 140 kg.
POZOR: sedací úvazek není vhodný pro účely zachycení pádu. Upevňovací body sedacího
úvazku (obrázek 1) lze použít pro omezení nebo pracovní polohování. Pro pracovní polohování
(1) připevněte spojku lana pro pracovní polohování k pracovnímu polohovacímu kroužku na
sedacím postroji, protáhněte lano bezpečným místem; ujistěte se, že je šňůrka napnutá a
připevněte ji k druhému bočnímu kroužku. Pro omezení (2) připojte konektor na druhém konci
lanka k polohovacímu D-kroužku a upevněte polohovací lanko k pevnému kotevnímu bodu. V
souladu s normou EN813 je nezbytné pravidelně kontrolovat upevňovací a nastavovací prvky a
také pravidelně kontrolovat sedací úvazek, zda není poškozen. Materiál použitý v zařízení je
uveden v „NOMENKLATUŘE/ OBLASTI POUŽITÍ". Zkontrolujte prosím číslo, které odpovídá
příslušné části. Buďte opatrní s omezeními materiálů. Teplota, vliv ostrých hran, chemická
činidla, elektrická vodivost, řezání, otěr, UV degradace, jiné klimatické podmínky mohou změnit
vlastnosti materiálu. Přečtěte si obecné pokyny a v případě pochybností nás kontaktujte pro
konkrétnější informace a podrobnou podporu.
POZOR: před a během použití je třeba zvážit, jak lze bezpečně a efektivně provést jakoukoli
záchranu. Výrobek by měla používat pouze vyškolená a/nebo jinak kompetentní osoba, nebo by
uživatel měl být pod přímým dohledem takové osoby. V části „DALŠÍ INFORMACE" můžete najít
nějaké pokyny k údržbě, ale doporučujeme přečíst si všechny informace o tom ve všeobecných
pokynech. Informace o životnosti výrobku najdete ve všeobecném návodu. Vždy, pokud je to
možné, uchovávejte zařízení v původním obalu. Při přepravě se vyvarujte překrývajících se
nákladů a chraňte se před horkými povrchy, vysokými teplotami, ostrými povrchy nebo jinými
faktory, které snižují životnost a podmínky použití. Model/referenční číslo najdete na příslušném
štítku produktu. Máte-li jakékoli pochybnosti o významu jakéhokoli označení na produktu,
kontaktujte nás. Zkontrolujte prosím „NOMENKLATURA/ OBLAST POUŽITÍ" příslušné normy
pro vybavení. VAROVÁNÍ: Při použití FS275 se ujistěte, že je popruh vložen ve správné poloze
- vložte D-kroužek. VAROVÁNÍ: Záchranný postroj, FS236 - maximální zatížení 100 kg, se nesmí
používat jako zařízení pro přidržování těla v systému zachycení pádu.
