9.2 Alarm codes on SMART-MT

AL00 Signaling from the controller (PCB MAIN) of the HP
AL01 Abnormal value of the water inlet temp to the HP
AL02 Abnormal value of the water outlet temp to the HP
AL03 Abnormal value of the external air temp. To the HP
AL04 Abnormal value of DHW Temp
AL05 Abnormal value of the radiant system Temp
AL06 UNAVAILABLE
AL07 Low water temp value (risk of condensation from radiant heat)
AL08 High water temp value for radiant system
AL09 Water flow rate to the HP too low
AL10 Low system pressure
AL11 Failed / incorrect communication with Febos Crono (Master)
AL12 Abnormal value of the AMBIENT Temp. From Febos Chrono)

9.3 Manual reset protection status on the
heat pump
This function prevents the heat pump functions in abnormal condition for
a long period, in case of alarm AL07 and/or AL08 present three times in 1
hour, the HP stops.
To restore normal operation, you must turn off power by intervening on
Thermal-magnetic switch.
For this operation, please contact your local Authorized Service Center for
the necessary controls in order to find the causes.
In case of an alarm, the icon

then select AL to access the list of active alarms.

1st Check the sensor connection
to the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK.
2nd Replace the sensor.
3rd Replace the SMART-MT.
1° Check the pressure and water circulation in the system.
2° Manually reset the HP (switch off and on again after
a few minutes) and monitor its operation.

2° Check the condition of the water filter (clean).
1 ° Check the water pressure in the system
1° Check the connection of the Febos Crono Master to the PCB
TERMINAL BLOCK.
2° Replace the Febos Chrono Master.
3° Replace the SMART-MT.

to the FEBOS CRONO MASTER (if AL13).
2° Check the connection of the FEBOS CRONO MASTER
to the PCB TERMINAL BLOCK.
3° Replace the FEBOS CRONO MASTER.
4° Replace the SMART-MT.

Water temperature too low (cooling mode)
In the following cases appears the AL07 alarm, which activates the pump
and turn off the compressor:
- Temp. water output is less than 4.0 ° C
- Temp. inlet water is less than 5.0 ° C
- In just radiating operation when the water temperature system flow
drops below the dew point temperature.
Water temperature too high (heating mode)
In the following case appears the AL08 alarn, which activates the pump
and turn off the compressor:
- In just radiating operation when the water temperature system flow
exceeds the temperature limit value.
