needs to be changed (E).

Changing the filter cartridge
• Lift up the lid of the water tank (4) and remove it by pulling
on the lid. Empty the water and remove the filter cartridge
(F).
• Insert a new filter cartridge (12) (available on our online
store or from an official Laurastar retailer) and refill the

water tank (G).
• Finally, confirm the change by pressing the cartridge
change switch.
Draining the device

To maintain the effectiveness of your device and to avoid
traces of limescale, you must drain it each time you change
the filter cartridge.
ADVICE: Drain your device every 10 hours of use or
once a month.

When draining the device, refer to the following
instructions:
• Ensure that the power plug (10) has been removed from
the socket, the water tank (4) has been removed and the
DMS Steamer (2) has been placed to the side.
• Shake the device (1) firmly in circular movements and
place it over a sink (H).

• Lift the protective tab (9) on the drain cap and unscrew it
with a coin (I).
• Drain all the water from the device (J).
• Retighten the drain cap, replace the protective flap and fill
up the tank with water.
• You can turn your device back on.

Return to the Customer Service department
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug. Locate your purchase contract,
invoice or receipt. Telephone the Customer Service department and follow the
instructions given.
