TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
Generator malfunction.
Burner/Blower motor malfunction.
Belt broken or slipping on generator.
Burner switch is not turned on.
Thermostat knob is OFF.
Trigger gun is closed.
Out of fuel.
Detergent valve is open, but detergent hose
is not completely submerged in solution. (This
causes safety devices to shut down burner.)
Pressure switch override.
No voltage.
Poor or improper fuel supply.
Fuel pump sucking air.
Dirty or clogged fuel filter or fuel water sepa-
rator.
Low fuel pump pressure.
Fuel pump inoperative.
Flexible coupler broken.
Fuel solenoid valve failure.
Dirty or clogged fuel nozzle.
Improper burner air adjustment.
Faulty ignition module.
Ignition electrodes damaged or worn.
Steam mode: Pump head PSI is too high.
Thermostat not set high enough.
Detergent valve is open, but detergent hose
is not completely submerged in solution.
(This causes safety devices to shut down
burner.)
Poor or improper fuel supply.
Dirty or clogged fuel filter or fuel water sepa-
rator
Low fuel pump pressure.

REMEDY
Repair or replace.

Check switch position.
Check thermostat knob position.
Open gun for pressure.
Refuel.
Close valve, or completely submerge
clear vinyl hose into detergent solution.
Pressure should be over 375 PSI
to allow burner to come on.
Consult Service Department.
Check fuel to ensure it is correct. Drain
tank and filter if necessary and refill with
proper fuel.
Tighten all fuel intake connections. Elimi-
nate leaks in intake line.
Drain or replace as necessary.
Check fuel pump pressure, adjust or
replace as necessary.
Check pressure, replace if necessary.
Replace.
Replace.
Replace fuel nozzle.
Adjust

Adjust or replace electrodes. Consult your

Verify Steam switch is in "Steam" mode.
Reduce PSI to 325.
Turn thermostat to higher setting.
Close valve, or completely clear vinyl
hose into detergent solution.
Check fuel to ensure it is correct. Drain
tank and filter if necessary and refill with
proper fuel.
Drain or replace as necessary.
Check fuel pump pressure, adjust or
replace if needed.
Replace fuel nozzle.
