7 Assembly
7.1 Installing the ISOFIX Base
To install the ISOFIX Base, read the operating instructions included with the product.
7.2 Installing the baby seat
7.2.1 Installing with ISOFIX Base

► Place the baby seat on the ISOFIX Base facing away from the direction of travel (child looking
backwards)
■ When inserting the baby seat, make sure that the rear black/white markings on the baby seat
and on the ISOFIX Base line up, and push the baby seat onto the ISOFIX Base until it audibly
engages
■ The release knobs (5) must have switched to green
WARNING
Danger to life!
Never fasten a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat if the front passenger airbag is
activated.
If, in exceptional cases, it is necessary to carry a child on the front passenger seat, deactivate the
front passenger airbag.
