8.1 Removing the cover

WARNING
Danger to life!
Never use the baby seat without the cover and belt system. This could cause serious or fatal
injuries to a child in an accident.
WARNING
Risk of injury!
A replacement seat cover must have been recommended by the manufacturer, as the cover is an
essential part of the system's safety performance.
► Loosen the belt
■ Read chapter 6.3 Loosening the belts on page 33 to do this
► Undo the belt buckle by pushing the red button
► Detach the tensioning belt (13) from the push button
► Open the flap behind the seat by pushing into the recess
► Unhook the shoulder strap loops behind the seat from the connecting plate (27)
► Pull the shoulder straps (28) forwards out of the belt slots in the cover and out of the shoulder pads
► Detach the two hooks (21) on the rear of the head restraint cover (16)
