4) ACTIVATION
4.1 FUNCTION OF THE KEYS
The table shows the functions of the keys.
Please note: The same key pressed during work or pro-
gramming takes on a different function.

4.2 DISPLAY READING
During work phase, in Chronometric mode, the letter 'h' will
be displayed alternating with the current time.
During work phase, in Volumetric mode, the display will show
'h' (current time)
alternating with MC
(M3 of residual wa-
ter).
The dot on the lower
right side of the di-
splay indicates that
the softener will
regenerate at the
scheduled time.
For the Volumetric
version, however,
the central inter-
mittent light on the
display indicates the
outgoing water flow.

4.3 START
After completing the installation, carefully follow the below
procedure:
1. Keep the water inlet and outlet taps closed (fig.3, D, B),
connect the plug to the power socket.
2. Wait for the time to appear on the display; the valve will
then be in the operating phase.
3. Press and hold the
R
regeneration cycle.
4. Wait for b3 to appear on the display.
5. Disconnect the power.
6. Very slowly open the water inlet tap halfway (fig. 3, D) and
leave in this position for approximately 2 minutes, after
which open the inlet tap completely and let the water flow
abundantly from the exhaust.
7. Pour water into the brine tank until it covers the grate (fig.
1, G).
8. Reconnect the power.
9. Press the
button for 2 seconds moving on to step b5.

Check that the softener draws water from the brine tank.
10. Press the
button again for 2 seconds and move on to
R
step b7.
11. Open the outlet tap completely (fig. 3, B) and close the
by-pass tap (fig. 3, C).
12. Allow the softener to complete the cycle and enter the
operating phase.
Proceed with programming.
5) PROGRAMMING
Programming involves entering data for the correct functio-
ning of the softener.
The values display to be entered must be included in the ran-
ges of table n.3.
