3. wait 3 minutes to discharge the motor circuit voltage
4. remove B71/BCHP from the connector
5. replace the fuse
6. re-energize the power supply and check that the
control unit switches on
Having confirmed the damage on the B71/BCHP, proceed
with its replacement, always following the safety
instructions indicated in paragraph 5, points 1,2,3,4.
9
Initial testing
Disconnect from the mains power supply. The LED DL3
should extinguish.
Perform a complete open manoeuvre and a complete
close manoeuvre and check that the installation functions
correctly under battery power.
Reconnect to mains power and check that the LEDs DL1
and DL3 illuminate.
Check that the DL4 LED is off when the motor is stopped.
Only for B70/1DCHP and B70/1THP control units with
High Speed or Reversible motors: with the leaf moving
at the maximum speed selected, activate the STOP
command, or the sensitive edge, and check that DL4
makes a few rapid flashes, signalling that the voltage
limiter has been activated.
NOTE: If the speed is low, or if the inertia of the sliding
sash is low, the DL4 LED may not even flash.

Maintenance
Perform scheduled maintenance every 6 months.
Check cleanliness and function.
If the unit contains dirt, moisture, insects or other foreign
matter, disconnect from mains power and clean the
board and the housing.
Repeat the initial installation test procedure after
cleaning.
If any corrosion is found on the printed circuit board,
evaluate if it is necessary to replace the board itself.
Check battery charge by performing a complete open/
close manoeuvre and measuring the output voltage from
the batteries.
A battery pack in good condition must maintain a
minimum voltage of at least 22V .
Replace the batteries at least every 3 years.
