Connecting the coarse dirt outlet

The coarse dirt that collects in the dirt channel drains away via the coarse dirt outlet ∅ 4 in (DN 110)
(top outlet on the container).
• A flexible coupling is more suitable for easy connection of the outlet than a PVC connecting ele-
ment.
• Connect a suitable pipe ∅ 4 in (DN 110) and drain the dirty water into the sewer system.

Connecting the dirt outlet

The water in the container can be drained via the dirt outlet with the slide valve ∅ 3 in (DN 75) (at the
bottom of the container) when required (for cleaning, repair, winter storage).
• Connect a suitable pipe ∅ 3 in (DN 75) and drain the dirty water into the sewer system.
How to proceed:
1. Remove the cap nuts and push the dirt outlet onto the connection.
2. Fit and tighten the cap nuts, tighten the hose clip.
3. Connect the pipe.
Bring together the pipe for the dirt outlet ∅ 3 in (DN 75) and the pipe for the coarse dirt outlet
∅ 4 in (DN 110) and drain the dirty water via a pipe ∅ 4 in (DN 110) into the sewer system. This
will ensure that the dirty water pipe will be conveniently flushed out with sufficient pressure.
