6. MAINTENANCE MANUAL
6.1. INSTALLATION
•
Warning! The machine weighs 81.5kg. We recommend two people carry the juicer. The
best way to carry it is to hold the bottom rear with one hand and then use your other hand to
hold the machine by the squeezing tray axles [Fig. 29].
•
Place the machine on a surface that is sufficiently rigid, stable and horizontal, and then
secure it to the surface by screwing the legs to the surface with M8 screws.
•
Machines that are not installed on a Zummo cabinet must be installed on a surface at a
minimum height of 800 mm. If it is installed on a lower surface, the lid accessory for the
hopper should be fitted.
•
The machine must be connected to earth to avoid any possible electric shocks to people or
damage to the equipment.
•
The plug must be accessible after installing the machine. The use of extension leads,
adapters or multiple power points is not allowed.
•
Make sure the voltage and frequency of the machine match those of the power supply. See
specifications plate [Fig. 30].
•
Plug the power cable into a socket with an effective earthing contact, duly protected by a
0.03A differential circuit-breaker and only connect the juicer to this socket. Do not share it
with other appliances.
•
We recommend cleaning the squeezing system components before the first use (cups,
squeezing tray, balls, blade, ADAPT tray / SERVICE tank, complete automatic filter and
front cover). We also recommend cleaning the feeder area before the first use (inner hopper
and hooper chute).
6.2. MAINTENANCE
For proper maintenance of the outer components, they should be cleaned at least on a daily
basis as described in 5.7 Disassembly and cleaning.
For maintenance of the internal components, the guides and mechanisms should be greased,
and thoroughly cleaned.
