4. Message: Software updates are available in the App Store
for your BGM
What it means: A critical or non-critical software update
is available on the App Store. If the update is critical, you
won't be able to use other meter functions until the software
update is completed. If the update is non-critical, you may
dismiss the update. The update will appear every 24 hours
and will also be available in the App Store.
Action to take: See "Apps" section (pg. 32
prompts to install the software update.
5. Error: Meter freezes or restarts
What it means: Your meter may require restarting or
software updates.
Action to take: Check your meter's battery charge level.
Charge your meter if low or very low battery. Turn off your
device, wait 10 seconds, and turn your device back on. Check
if your meter has pending software updates and install them.

Communication errors
If you are having trouble sending your results, you may want to
try the following:
• If testing indoors, move closer to a window for better
cellular reception
• Check to see if there is cellular coverage in your area. Two
bars or less of wireless signal strength may result in unreliable
transmission and reception of data.
• Restart your meter and send reading within Logs.
If your meter has had an extended period of inactivity or
excessive data usage for ancillary applications, your cellular
service may have been discontinued in accordance with the
Terms of Use. Contact Customer Care for re-activation options.
