Privacy and Your Data
You agree that you have read, understood and accept the terms
of Philips's Privacy Policy. This policy governs the collection, use,
and sharing of personal and non-personal information from you
when using the Sites and the Service. As detailed in our Notice
of Privacy Practices, Philips may use your medical information for
the following purposes:
• Treatment. We may use or disclose medical information about
you to provide you with medical services and/or to assist
medical providers in coordinating and managing your care.
• Payment. We may use or disclose your health information so
that the services you receive may be billed to and payment
may be collected from you, an insurance company, or a third
party. We may also disclose your medical information to
contractors who provide claims processing or other services
to Philips.
• Health care operations. We may use or disclose your health
information to perform necessary internal functions. For
example, we may use your data to help us train new staff and
to conduct quality improvement activities. We may combine
medical information about many patients to decide what
additional services to off er and whether certain services
are eff ective.
As part of the Service, you control who may access your data,
along with any authorized person who may access such data
on your behalf (and grant access to such data) and other invited
users. If you share your data generated by the Service, then you
agree that anyone you've shared such data with may access and
use that data in which such use shall not be subject to Philips's
Privacy Policy. You agree that SMS/Text and e-mail messages
sent to authorized users are for informational purposes only.
Furthermore, by using the Service, you hereby consent to the
access and review of such data by your health care insurance
provider (the "Insurance Provider") and hereby waive and release
the Insurance Provider and its respective affi liates from any and
all damages, losses, actions, costs, and claims in connection with
