Installation
WARNING!
Electric shock hazard
Disconnect the mains power supply before installing the dishwasher. Failure to do so may
result in death or electric shock. The electrical and plumbing installation must be carried
out by professional and qualified personnel.
On connection to the power grid
For reasons of personal security:
•
Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug with this product.
•
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the grounding wire from the power cord.
Electrical requirements
Refer to the specification label for voltage rating and connect the board to the appropriate power
supply.
Precautions
1.
The hob must be installed by qualified personnel or technicians. Please never carry out the operation
yourself if you are not sure.
2. The hob must not be installed directly above a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine or
tumble dryer, as moisture may damage the electronics of the hob.
3. The materials surrounding the cooking zone must ensure optimum heat radiation to improve
reliability.
4. The wall and worktop must be able to withstand high temperatures.
5. A steam cleaner must not be used.
Electrical connection
•
Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the current correspond to those on the specification
label.
•
Only connect the plug to a properly grounded outlet.
•
If the socket to which the product is to be connected is not suitable for the plug, replace the plug,
rather than using an adapter or similar, as this may cause overheating and burns.
•
The power cord must not touch any hot parts and must be positioned so that its temperature does
not exceed 75˚C at any point.
If the appliance is connected directly to the mains, a single-pole circuit breaker with an opening of at
least 3 mm between the contacts must be installed. The cable must not be bent or compressed.
