1.4 - DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The machine mainly consists of two parts:
a) A intended to provide the movement; it is
equipped with an electric motor with starter switch
and power cable, power take- off and bedplate
for worktop support. Except for extraordinary
maintenance, which should only be carried out by
the manufacturer, no other upkeep needs to be
done. It is advisable to avoid any upkeep operation:
the only actions to be taken are those connected
with the instructions for use.
b) A mincing unit composed by several parts, which
will be described hereafter. This unit must be firmly
connected to the motor assembly in order to perform
its duty.
1.5 - INTENDED USE
The machine has been designed and manufactured
for meat mincing. It must be used in professional
environments and the personnel intended for its use
must work in the sector and must have read and
understood this manual. Use the machine resting on
a suitable and clean work surface.
1.6 - IMPROPER USE
The machine must only be used for the purposes
expressly provided for by the manufacturer.
In particular:
- do not use the machine unless it has been properly
installed with all guards intact and properly
mounted to avoid the risk of serious injury.
- do not access the electrical components without
having previously disconnected the machine from
the power supply line: risk of electric shock.
1.6.1 - SAFETY PROVISIONS
- Do not perform any intervention without prior
authorisation.
- Follow the procedures described for maintenance
and technical support.
- Do not wear clothing that does not comply with
accident prevention regulations. Consult the
employer about the safety regulations in force and
the accident prevention equipment to be worn.
- Don't start the machine when in fault. Before
using the machine, make sure that any conditions
dangerous to safety have been properly

eliminated. If there are any anomalies, stop
the machine and report to those in charge of
maintenance.
- Do not allow unauthorised personnel to work on
the machine. In case of electrocution, the victim
must be isolated from the power source as soon
as possible.
To carry out this operation, it is preferable to use
the thermal cut-out; if it is necessary to intervene
on the victim, please remember that you could be
electrocuted unless you use insulating tools (sticks
or rods in wood or PVC, fabric, leather, etc.). It
is advisable to have medical personnelpromptly
intervene and hospitalize the patient.
1.6.2 - ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The machine is designed to operate under the
following environmental conditions:
- min. ambient temperature: -5° C
- max. ambient temperature: +40° C
- relative humidity: 50%
1.6.3 - LIGHTING
The place of installation of the machine must
have sufficient natural light and artificial lighting
in accordance with the standards in force in the
country where the meat mincer is installed.
In any case, the lighting should be evenly distributed
and ensure good visibility at every point of the
mincer and should not create dangerous reflections.
The lighting should allow clear identification of the
start and stop buttons.
1.7 - IDENTIFICATION DATA
An exact description of the "Model", "Serial Number"
and "Year of manufacture" of the machine will
facilitate quick and effective responses from our
service department. It is recommended to indicate
the machine model and serial number each time you
contact the service department.
Please specify the data you find on the plate shown
in fig. 1.7.1.
As a reminder, we suggest you write your machine
ID data in the box beside.
