4.5.2 Single-phase Only Connection

220-240 V 1 ~
With single phase only the machine must be connected to an
earthed single-phase 220-240 V 50 Hz electrical facility, with
a capacity of 15 A, equipped with the required protective
devices (magneto-thermal and differential), and connected
with a 3-conductor cable (1 phase, a neutral, plus earth of 4
mm as shown in figure 18 (bis)).

If the connection has been carried out inco-
rrectly, when the gluing unit motor is swit-
ched on you will hear a loud, intermittent
metallic noise indicating a bad connection.
This noise is produced by the system that
incorporates the anti-rotation gluing unit.
Once the connection has been corrected this
noise will disappear.
