Open the edge passage on guide H (Fig. 23.1): Lift and
lock the two guide stops A in the top position (Fig. 23.1).
Set the edge thickness on the gluing group: Loosen the
crank handle E (Fig. 23.1), which holds the gluing group in
place. Set the edge thickness to be used on digital counter
G (Fig. 23.1), using knob F. Lock the gluing group in position
once again, using crank handle E.
When the edge thickness is set, intake guide L (Fig. 23.1) and
applicator roller M (Fig. 23.1) are also set for this edge thic-
kness.
The value displayed on digital counter G (Fig. 23.1) is ex-
pressed in tenths of millimetres. This means that, for a 2.5
mm edge, the value displayed is 0025.
Open the passage for cutting blade K (Fig. 23.2): Push
cylinder B (Figs. 23.1 and 23.2) until blade K (Fig. 23.2) allows
the edge to pass freely when it enters.
Open the passage for edge guide D (Fig. 23.2): Using knob
C (Fig. 23.1), lift edge guide D (Figs. 23.1 and 23.2), allowing
the edge to pass.
